Thatcher Miller has announced an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Miller is a former West Chester University tight end, and he is coming off his redshirt junior season.
The veteran Division II tight end finished his time at West Chester with 634 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 43 receptions over five seasons. He has reported he has one year of eligibility remaining.
At 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Miller has proven to be an effective blocker as a tight end, which is a non-negotiable for any tight end, especially for one looking for a new home with a year of college football left. He has managed to pull in some tough catches in traffic with defenders surrounding him, as well as when they are hanging on him in coverage.
