Tony Diaz is off the board after scheduling a visit to Alabama. Diaz is taking his talents to Iowa out of the transfer portal after visiting with the Hawkeyes.
The former UT Rio Grande Valley wideout made the announcement on Friday.
The talented transfer drew attention from multiple programs after having a great 2025 season. He finished the year with 68 receptions, 875 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns in 2025. His best game of the season was against McNeese State. He pulled in seven receptions for 134 yards and three touchdowns against the Cowboys.
The Crimson Tide offered him and was expected to host him for a visit.
Alabama currently only has five scholarship wide receivers on its roster. The Tide is for sure prioritizing adding talent and depth to this room via the transfer portal. They remain in the mix for Auburn transfer, Cam Coleman.
