Alabama freshman tight end set to return for 2026 season

Former 4-star TE Marshall Pritchett had his 'best showing' for Alabama in 2nd scrimmage.

Marshall Pritchett will return to Alabama for the 2026 season, according to Yea Alabama.

In his freshman year, the 6-foot-5 248-pounder caught seven passes for 57 yards and averaged 8.1 yards a grab. His longest reception came in the SEC Championship game against Georgia when he caught a pass and picked up 12 yards.

Pritchett saw the field more when Josh Cuevas went down with an injury, and he has an opportunity to compete for more snaps in 2026 as Cuevas and Brody Dalton are out of eligibility.

Yea Alabama said he is excited to continue growing and developing with the program.
