Elite Georgia 4-Star Edge says Alabama is ‘No. 1’ in his recruitment

Alabama football’s four-star edge target, KJ Green has the Crimson Tide in the top spot in his recruitment.

Green is one of the top edge prospects in the 2027 recruiting class. He currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites.

The four-star received a visit from Kalen DeBoer, the Tide’s outside linebackers coach Christian Robinson and Alabama’s General Manager Courtney Morgan this week. The Tide’s staff flew in to spend time with Green and his family.

“Everything was overly righteous,” Green told Touchdown Alabama when asked about the visit.

Green has held an Alabama offer since October of 2024. This effort has put the Tide in a great position with Green. He tells Touchdown Alabama the Tide is currently ‘No. 1’ in his recruitment.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder looks to be a great fit for the Tide’s wolf linebacker position with the potential to possibly be effective at the bandit position. He is an effective pass rusher with his ability to bend, combine with his athleticism and length. He is also strong at the point of attack against the run.
