Khalifa Keith has committed to transfer to Alabama, sources confirmed to Touchdown Alabama. Keith is a former App State and Tennessee transfer.
The Birmingham, Alabama native played his high school football at Parker High School before signing with Tennessee. Keith rushed for 124 yards on 32 carries in two years as a Volunteer. He carried the football in two games after transferring to App State in 2025 in one season with the Mountaineers before entering the transfer portal again.
At 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, Keith will be one of the Tide’s bigger backs in 2026. He is expected to give the Tide another physical presence in the backfield, alongside Daniel Hill. He is also set to be the oldest running back on the Tide’s roster.
Alabama is looking to have a more efficient rushing attack in 2026 after leaving a lot to be desired in the area during the 2025 season.
