Elijah Haven made it back to Tuscaloosa Saturday to unofficially visit the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Haven is a 2027 five-star recruit, and he attends Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is currently down to Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Georgia.
The five-star said it felt great to get back to Tuscaloosa and spend time with Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer and his staff, along with the Tide’s new quarterbacks coach Bryan Ellis.
“It was a great visit,” Haven told Touchdown Alabama. “Just a great opportunity to see everyone again with my parents was nice and obviously talking with coach is always great. My family, and I think so highly of the program. It was great to be back.”
Alabama appeared to have secured its spot to continue to be one of Haven’s finalists with his latest visit being a success.
“I think very highly of them, and they are definitely still amongst my top schools as of now,” Haven said. “I am just excited to keep building a relationship with them.”
The Crimson Tide has now been able to get the five-star on campus several times in recent months.
The five-star threw for 3,931 yards and 62 touchdowns during the 2025 season. He also added 794 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns en route to leading Dunham to a state championship.
Haven is an effortless thrower of the football who can make all of the throws. He is also an athlete, and his ability to pick up yards with his feet puts that on display.
