Alabama football holds a commitment from 2027 four-star quarterback, Trent Seaborn, and it is no secret the Crimson Tide wants to add another 2027 quarterback.
This push for Alabama to add another signal caller to this class comes after the Tide signed Jett Thomalla and Tayden Kaawa during the 2026 recruiting cycle. They will look to repeat this in the 2027 cycle. Alabama’s top uncommitted 2027 quarterback target at the moment is Elijah Haven.

Seaborn and Haven were both on the campus of the University of Alabama over the weekend for Junior Day. Touchdown Alabama recently caught up with Seaborn and gathered his thoughts on potentially entering a loaded quarterback room in Tuscaloosa.
“I look at it as a blessing to have to earn every opportunity,” Seaborn said. “I’ll get to become the guy. I want that challenge of knowing I’m going to a loaded room, and it’s Alabama. They’ll continue to bring in the very best. I choose hard every time because that’s the way you can reach your full potential. Like coach Saban says, become the best version of yourself. If I’m not good enough at a certain point in time to beat out everyone else to be the guy then it just means I’ve got that much further to go to be good enough. And ultimately our goal at Alabama is to win National Championships, and I absolutely believe that competition brings out the best in players and that’ll always make the team the best it can be too.”
Seaborn’s Saturday visit to Alabama was a success, and it allowed him to spend time with many recruits and Alabama coaches.
“It was great,” Seaborn told Touchdown Alabama. “My family and I had a really good day with the staff, got to spend a lot of time hanging out with the recruits and coaches.”
The four-star signal caller is excited about his future with the Crimson Tide, but his immediate focus will be on what he needs to do to go out as a champion at Thompson High School.
