Alabama football legacy defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is back practicing with the Crimson Tide this spring.
Kirkpatrick Jr. was one of the players Alabama Athletics highlighted in photos it released to media members on Sunday after the Tide’s first practice of the spring.

The Gadsden City product was indefinitely suspended in 2025 after news broke he was arrested in November. He went on to sit out the rest of the year, but revealed he was returning to Alabama in January.
Kirkpatrick Jr. was coming on strong before he was suspended. He was starting to get meaningful snaps on defense and played in eight games before he was suspended. He finished the season with nine tackles, one tackle for loss and a forced fumble.
