John Meredith III put Alabama football in his top six.
Meredith attends Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, and he is considered to be the No. 1 cornerback in the 2027 class. He has Alabama, Notre Dame, Miami, Ohio State, Texas and Texas A&M in his top six.
The five-star is set to officially visit Alabama football on the weekend of May 29 to kick off his slate of recruiting visits. Texas will host him the following weekend in June. Texas A&M will be next up with Ohio State rounding out Meredith’s official visits on the weekend of June 19.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder plays the cornerback position with great anticipation. He also possesses the long frame college football coaches continue to lean towards in the current landscape of college football. His willingness and ability to come downhill and make tackles make it easy to see why he deserves his five-star rating.
