Georgia explosive sophomore wide receiver reacts to Alabama offer

Maddox Davis reported an offer from Alabama football earlier this month after visiting the Crimson Tide.

Davis is a 2028 prospect, and he attends Cartersville High School in Cartersville, Georgia. He now holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Texas A&M and others. His Alabama offer looks to come from the Tide’s wide receiver coach Derrick Nix.

“This offer means a lot,” Nix told Touchdown Alabama. “It proves that hard work and dedication to my craft will get me noticed by a historic program like Alabama.”

Madoxx was informed about his Alabama offer while visiting for spring practice.

“I really felt comfortable there and really liked how the coaches communicated with the players,” Maddox said.

The 6-foot, 192-pounder is a dynamic weapon for Cartersville. He reports a PR of 10.65 seconds in the 100-meter dash and a 4.42 40-yard dash, but his speed is just one of the reasons why he is a dangerous prospect.

“My speed and quickness for sure,” said Maddox. “I am very explosive. I also pride myself on being able to run the entire route tree with pace.”
