Indiana defensive line and 2026 NFL prospect Mikail Kamara feels the Hoosiers are focused on building a dynasty.
Kamara made this clear to reporters at the Hoosiers’ Pro Day. The defensive lineman said the goal is to make Indiana like Alabama but not like the current Alabama football program. The Hoosiers want to look like the ‘old bama’ in particular, according to Kamara.
“Hopefully we can turn this into like Bama, old Bama,” Kamara told reporters. “Coach Cig and the rest of the staff is really great at developing players, not just developing players, but also recruiting the right guys, who have the work ethic and who have the drive to come in every single day and try to get better. So at the end of the day, this race that we all have as football players is just who wants to get better every single day.”
This comment comes after Indiana defeated Alabama in the College Football Playoff and went on to win the College Football National Championship. The Hoosiers beat the Tide 38-3 in the Rose Bowl.
Both programs are currently going through spring practice and have goals of making the College Football Playoff again in 2026.
