Fans are intrigued by the quarterback competition, depth at wide receiver, improvement on the offensive line, a growth in consistency on defense, and a transfer placekicker.
A-Day showed us a lot last week – including Keelon Russell excellence at quarterback, several receivers making plays, the offensive front doing some good things, multiple defensive players flying around the field, and Lorcan Quinn making three field goals. EJ Crowell, a talented freshman, did not compete in the spring game because of a soft tissue (calf) injury.
The five-star did not go, however, the Crimson Tide had explosiveness at running back.
Trae’shawn Brown, a three-star from Huntsville, Texas, has unique traits that have positioned him for an opportunity at playing time in the fall.
