Former Alabama defensive lineman excited to reunite with Ty Simpson in Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Rams selected Ty Simpson (quarterback) and Tim Keenan III (defensive lineman) from the University of Alabama in the NFL Draft. Simpson was taken at No. 13 overall in the first round as the potential heir apparent to Matthew Stafford. He started 15 games last season for the Crimson Tide, totaling 3,567 passing yards and 28 touchdowns to five interceptions. Keenan got selected in the seventh round of the draft and is reunited with his college quarterback. Both players were team captains for the Tide in 2025.
Simpson will remain as No. 15, while Keenan keeps No. 96.
