Deshawn Hall recently dropped his top seven, and three of those programs are pushing to create major separation for the wide receiver.

Hall attends Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama, and he is a 2027 four-star prospect.  He has Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Tennessee in his top seven, with three of the schools really standing out. Those schools are Alabama, Tennessee and Penn State, and the four-star is expected to officially visit each of those programs. The bond he has built with all three programs has them pushing to separate from the other schools, who also remain in hot pursuit of him.

A decision for Hall is likely to come in June when he wraps up his official visits, Hall tells Touchdown Alabama.

Penn State recently sent several members of their staff to Prattville to see the talented prospect.

Tennessee’s offensive coordinator Joey Halzle and the Vols’ wide receiver coach Kelsey Pope also recently made a trip to Prattville to meet with Hall. Pope is a fellow Alabama native.

The Crimson Tide hosted the in-state recruit for a multiple-day visit during the spring, and the visit positioned the Tide to make a push for the wide receiver after offering him in March.

“It was electric the whole time I was down there,” Hall told Touchdown Alabama. “I really like the coaching staff, coach Nix, coach DeBoer. We had great meetings, went to eat with the staff. It was a great day, and I definitely look forward to going back.”

Alabama’s wide receiver coach Derrick Nix recently visited Hall, and the pair was able to chop it up in Prattville. Their relationship is in what Hall describes as a great spot ahead of him officially visiting the Tide.

At 6-foot-5 and 190 pounds, the 2027 recruit’s basketball background literally leaps off his junior film. He is a very hard cover in jump-ball situations. He is also able to create separation in impressive fashion for a guy his size.
