Alabama football is hosting five 2027 recruits this weekend for official visits.
Here is a breakdown of all five:
Elijah Haven – 5-Star QB (Alabama Commit)
Haven is the only Alabama commit who will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend, officially visiting the Crimson Tide. He recently earned an invite to the Nike Opening Finals after competing at the Elite 11 Finals. He confirmed to Touchdown Alabama he is still feeling good about where he stands with the Tide before his official.
“I feel great,” Haven said. “Being from Louisiana, people like you to stay in the boot. Me and my family felt that Alabama was the best fit for me and best decision for our family moving forward in the future.”
Namajay Thompson – 3-Star WR
Thompson pushed up his Alabama official visit from next weekend to this weekend. The Crimson Tide is making the explosive wide receiver a priority.
“They’ve been really consistent with me,” Thompson said after Alabama’s staff visited him. “When they came by, they made it clear I’m a priority for them and one of the top guys on their board, also letting me know how much they value me and that they would love to see me in that crimson jersey.”
At 6-foot and 186 pounds, Thompson reports the ability to run a 4.4 forty, and his speed is evident in some of his top plays from the 2025 football season. He flashes the ability to take the top off of defense by getting behind the secondary, along with his ability to turn a short pass into a big gain. The new Alabama targets see his route-running, strong hands, ability to create separation, blocking, speed, and body control as strengths.
Thompson finished his junior season with 53 receptions and 865 receiving yards. He compiled 1,115 all-purpose yards and 14 total touchdowns.

Colton Johnson – 3-Star TE
Johnson is a 2027 tight end out of Upperman High School in Tennessee. He holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, Ohio State, Tennessee and others. He told Touchdown Alabama he is looking forward to the visit as the Tide’s staff has remained in contact with him.
“I want to get to know the people in the program more and see the culture around it.”
The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder shines as a complete tight end for Upperman. He produces as a blocker at the line of scrimmage, displaying physicality and tenacity. He also makes plays as a large target for his quarterback.
Michael Nnabuife – 3-Star TE
Alabama football’s staff is attempting to flip Nnabuife from Syracuse.
“They’ve made it pretty apparent that they’re still actively trying to flip me, which is the big reason why I’m going on this official visit,” Nnabuife told Touchdown Alabama. “Contact still been strong, and I still talk to the staff pretty regularly.”
At 6-foot-5 and 242 pounds, the Alabama target takes pride in being a nasty and effective blocker, as well as a receiving threat.
“I always want to dog the person in front of me,” Nnabuife said. “So, wherever I choose, they know they’re getting a guy who they can rely on heavily in the run game, and then I’m also a really good route runner. I would say I can create space pretty easily for myself.”

Luke Cody – Kicker
Cody is a 2027 kicker out of Lumberton High School in Texas. He holds college football offers from Alabama, Graceland and Texas State. Kohl’s Kicking ranks Cody as the No. 9 kicker in the nation.
Alabama offered him earlier this week, and he immediately scheduled an official visit.
“I’m trying to find out if the place feels like home to me,” Cody told Touchdown Alabama. “The hospitality has been great, but I want to be sure that I’ll be comfortable where I’m at.”
Cody nailed multiple field goals from more than 40 yards out, including a 54-yard field goal.
