Tatum White reported an offer from Alabama football earlier this week after camping in Tuscaloosa.
White attends Heard County High School in Franklin, Georgia, and he is a member of the 2029 recruiting class. He now holds early offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech and others. White’s offer from the Tide comes after White impressed the Tide’s coaching staff at camp.
“This offer means the world to me,” White told Touchdown Alabama. “Receiving an offer from one of the top schools in the nation is a tremendous opportunity for me. It makes me very confident in myself and my future because of the trust the staff has instilled in me.”
White is looking forward to continuing to build his relationship with the Tide.
“Ultimately, this is a huge step for me along my journey, and it makes me want to work even harder for the coming years to continue to land higher on the board at Alabama,” White said.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder is absolutely dominant at times along Heard County’s defensive front with a very impressive first step. This first step, paired with White’s power, makes him a challenge to block. White feels his pass-rush ability and the power that he possesses are among the strengths of his game to this point.
