Ryquan Butler has announced a verbal commitment to Alabama.
Butler attends Loachapoka High School in Alabama. He is a 2028 linebacker prospect, and he holds offers from Alabama, Tennessee and others. His commitment gives the Tide four 2028 commits.
The rising junior earned an Alabama offer at camp in June.
“It means a lot to me because I’ve worked so hard for it, but this also means I have to work harder,” Butler told Touchdown Alabama after earning an offer from the Tide. “It is a great program from what I can see on the outside. They have produced multiple NFL prospects and created great men.”
At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Butler is an impressive linebacker in space. He takes great angles to the football and possesses the athleticism the Crimson Tide is prioritizing at the linebacker position on the recruiting front.
