Ryan Coleman-Williams identifies a wide receiver Alabama fans need to get familiar with

Tyler Henderson is a name many Alabama fans may not be talking about ahead of the 2026 season, but this may need to change, according to Ryan Coleman-Williams.

Henderson transferred to Alabama from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He was one of the most productive receivers at the junior college level last year. He finished the 2025 season with 1,202 yards and 12 touchdowns on 67 receptions.

Coleman-Williams highlighted the wide receiver on Tide 100.9 during an interview with Ryan Fowler.

“Triple Crown out of JUCO,” Coleman-Williams said. “Super excited for him. He’s put on some weight. I’m just super excited for what he’s able to showcase this fall.”

Henderson is currently listed at 6-foot-1 and 173 pounds on the Tide’s roster. According to Coleman-Williams, may be several pounds heavier than that this fall.

At Mississippi Gulf Coast, he showed flashes of being explosive while running routes and while picking up yards after the catch during the 2025 football season. With Noah Rogers expected to be sidelined for several games during the early part of the 2026 season, the door is open for Henderson to get on the field early and often if he has an impressive fall camp.

Henderson will wear No. 14 this fall after wearing No. 37 during the spring.
