The Los Angeles Rams and former Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson have agreed to terms on his rookie contract, and he is signing his four-year, $25.4M fully guaranteed deal with a fifth-year option, according to Ian Rapport.
Simpson gets a $14.94 million signing bonus in his deal. He was the No. 13 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Simpson spent four seasons at the University of Alabama after signing with the Crimson Tide as a five-star recruit. He started at quarterback for the Tide during the 2025 season. The Tennessee product threw for 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns in his only year as a starter. He became the fifth former Alabama quarterback to get chosen in the first round of the NFL Draft.
The Rams’ quarterback of the future has inked his rookie deal, and he’s set to play behind the reigning MVP Matthew Stafford.
