Alabama DB expects dog fight from this SEC team

The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Georgia Bulldogs in Tuscaloosa during the opening stages of SEC play this season. 

The Tide went 1-1 against Georgia last year. Alabama was able to secure a regular season victory on the road in Athens, while also dropping the SEC Championship game against the Bulldogs in December. 

Alabama defensive back Zabien Brown recently took a moment to share his thoughts on the upcoming matchup against Georgia this season, as Brown claims both teams will be ready prior to the contest in October. 

“It’s gonna be a dog fight. We know what Georgia does.” Brown said. “They know what we do, real familiar. It’s going to be a long four quarters. We remember every time we faced them, but it is a clean slate. We go 1-0.”

Alabama’s second matchup with Georgia last season featured a handful of injured players across the Crimson Tide’s lineup. The Tide will undoubtedly seek revenge against the Bulldogs in 2026, and Brown could quickly emerge as an X-factor throughout the entirety of the contest.
