Reese is set to enter his third season with the Crimson Tide after signing with Alabama as a three-star recruit out of Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Woodson is a Virginia Tech transfer who has started multiple games in his college football career.
Woodson is projected to start at one of the Tide’s linebacker positions this fall. Reese is also in line to possibly start for the first time in his career. He is expected to compete for a starting linebacker role throughout fall camp alongside Luke Metz and Caleb Jones.
Praise for Reese has been consistent throughout the offseason.
“I really like QB Reese,” Zabien Brown told Ryan Fowler of Tide 100.9 at SEC Media Days. “He’s a dog, man. He’s hungry. You see every day the way he walks; he can’t wait to get in the building.”
