Alabama football released a week one depth chart on Friday ahead of its season opener against East Carolina.
Here are five initial takeaways from the depth chart reveal:
Freshmen In The 2 Deep
Alabama football had multiple freshmen make its two-deep depth chart. Trae’shawn Brown is listed as the No. 2 running back, Cederian Morgan is listed as the No. 2 Z wide receiver, Zyan Gibson is listed as the No. 2 cornerback and Xavier Griffin is listed as the No. 2 stinger inside linebacker.
All of these freshmen along with EJ Crowell are expected to be contributors this fall for the Tide.
