Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer eluded to a potential advertisement being placed on the Crimson Tide’s jersey in the near future during Monday’s press conference.

DeBoer and the Tide secured a 48-10 win over ECU in the opening game of the season on Saturday afternoon. Alabama debuted their new-look uniforms as well, as the Tide’s signature script “A” on the collar of their jersey has been replaced with an SEC logo.

DeBoer took a moment to comment on the uniform changes earlier today, as the Crimson Tide head coach claims an advertisement patch will more than likely emerge on Alabama’s jersey very soon.

“I think that’s generally why we did that.” DeBoer said. “Preparing for the future.”

Alabama has had numerous companies reach out in hopes of advertising their brand on the Tide’s jersey this season. An official announcement has yet to be made in regard to the Tide’s new sponsor, but DeBoer’s comments certainly elude to a decision being made sooner rather than later.
