Alabama football’s starting guard ruled out for Kentucky game

Alabama football’s starting right guard Michael Carroll has been ruled out ahead of matchup against Kentucky.

Carroll has started several games during his time at Alabama.

The guard, Nick Sherman, AK Dear, Jeremiah Beaman, Zyan Gibson, Jorden Edmonds, Cayden Jones and Noah Rogers were all ruled out.

Dear was listed as questionable earlier this week after suffering a lower-body injury during fall camp.

Jireh Edwards remains questionable. The freshman is coming off an upper-body injury he suffered in fall camp.

The Crimson Tide take on Kentucky in Lexington on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CST.
