The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Kentucky Wildcats by a final score of 45-17 at Kroger Field this past weekend.
The Tide will host the Florida State Seminoles at Bryant-Denny Stadium for a highly anticipated matchup in Week 3. Alabama will undoubtedly seek revenge against FSU following their 31-17 victory over the Tide last season, as sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell will face yet another excellent test against the Seminoles on Saturday.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was recently asked if the team views Saturday’s contest as a revenge game, as DeBoer claims the matchup is just another game in their eyes.
“In our minds, this is the 2026 team.” DeBoer said. “I know there’s a lot of guys, including our staff, who know what it felt like walking off that football field.”
Alabama will enter Week 3’s matchup fresh off an authoritative road win over Kentucky while the Seminoles suffered a 27-24 loss against SMU in Week 2. The Tide as a whole will more than likely have revenge in the back of their mind despite DeBoer’s comments, and Alabama will look to keep things rolling against FSU in Week 3.
