“It’s sick. I mean, the guys are showing me the pictures of the grab. It’s like he was Spider-Man and the little webs. I mean, it was an amazing catch by him.”
On If He And Ryan Coleman-Williams Are Proving They Are Proving They Are The Best Duo in College Football
“Not even just me and Ryan, the whole offense. You know, like I said, like these guys, they’re phenomenal. They can turn a 2-yard pass into a touchdown. And it’s just like, these guys are great, but this offense in general, each and every one of these guys, we click. We got a lot of work to do. Are things that we got to pick up and still got to get back to the drawing board. But You know, these guys are amazing. They execute every play, you know, and they work so hard for it. And, you know, it just comes down to when we play ball.”
On Getting Dominant Win Over South Carolina
“It feels real amazing. South Carolina, for the last 2 years that was a tight game and coming out here dominating. You just put it like Ryan said it the best. You send a message to everybody in the world how your offense and how your defense is. And I feel like we sent the message today. We did a real great job. Shout out to the offense and shout out to the defense. They have an amazing staff, amazing players, and amazing offense and defense on that South Carolina end. And what we did tonight was very special. So I really want to thank the guys tonight. You know, for playing their butts off having an amazing game, offense and defense.”
On What Is The Identity Of The Alabama Offense
“We work hard. You know, preparation is key for us. You know, Grubbs says it, every battle is won before it’s fought, you know. And when we attack practice, when we go to, you know, our walkthroughs or anything in general, when we’re not on the field, you know, we got to have a want-to-know mindset. We got to go into anything that we do Acting like knowing that this is how we’re going to do in the games. And we had a phenomenal walkthrough today. And like I said, I want to thank the guys today, you know, for being keyed in, locked in. Like, the walkthroughs are special, you know. Grubb even was hyped on how special our walkthroughs is. That’s where we get our confidence from and our momentum from is the walkthroughs or the practices and how good we do in these practices and walkthroughs. That’s really what we key in on what I’m saying, to get ready for the games, the preparation.”
On Tyrell Miller Stepping Up At Right Tackle
“He’s a dominant guy. He never backs down from nothing. Like, you know, he shows resilience. Like, he’s very resilient. Like, if he gets yelled at, if he, you know, does something wrong, he’s willing to, you know, fix it. He goes back into the drawing board, goes back, you know, doing everything right. And the guy’s just a monster. And I just want to congratulate him. You know, it’s a big role to step up in SEC play. You know, we had amazing— it was amazing D-line that we went against. For him to come in and just, you know, attack it like it was nothing, I just want to congratulate him.”
On If He Is Now More Prepared To Play On The Road
“I mean, obviously I gotta get better. You know, it’s still a lot of knickknacks that, you know, I can fix. Just gotta keep building, keep growing, and eventually it’s gonna come. It’s gonna get better and better each and every week. But, you know, if I can get better, I’m getting the offense better as well. So the more I get better, the more I can build. I can bring my guys with me. You know, we can build together. And that’s what we are going to do. We’re going to build as an offense, even the defense. Iron sharpens iron. So I’m gonna sharpen them, they’re gonna sharpen me, and we’re gonna keep building.”
