How has Alabama CB Dijon Lee responded in practice this week?

Alabama football’s cornerback Dijon Lee was at the center of a lot of discussion this week after having a rough performance against Georgia.

Lee’s late-game personal foul penalty ultimately took away any chance the Tide had at getting the ball back late in the fourth quarter against the Bulldogs. Georgia kneeled and brought the game to an end after getting rewarded a first down due to the penalty.

The cornerback has used this week to bounce back, according to Zabien Brown.

“That’s my guy,” Brown said. “That’s my brother. He’s a great player and he’s going to have a great rest of the season. He responded good. He’s a very strong-minded dude, and we had a great practice out there today.”

Alabama football’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack told media members Lee would be held accountable this week during his Monday press conference.

“My job is to get the most out of every single player in our defense, and so the things that I need to do to get him to execute at a higher level than what he’s doing from an execution standpoint, that’s one facet,” Wommack said. “And then the other facet is being held accountable for the penalty there at the end of the game. There will be some things that we will do this week and some things that obviously moving forward, my job as a coordinator is based upon the production that you put on the field, the role that you have moving forward. And so from a rep-based standpoint, that will be reflective in what guys have done to this point.”

Lee and Alabama will look to bounce back from losing to Georgia this weekend when the Tide takes on Tennessee.
