Alabama will be without Ryan Coleman-Williams when the Crimson Tide take on Tennessee on Saturday.

Kalen DeBoer provided more insight on Coleman-Williams’ status Wednesday on “Hey Coach.”

“Right now we won’t expect him to be with us as far as being on the field,” DeBoer said. “He’s going through a few different things, some from games before and one from the game on Saturday too. The guy was out there for the last couple of weeks giving everything he has. He was trying to get to probably the bye week and just with some other things that he had to work through, that would probably have limited him for this week anyway. And it was just something we needed to do. Right. The guy’s heart’s in it. And he was trying to do everything he could to get out there last week and give everything he had and doing the same things as what he wanted to do in the next couple of weeks as well. But we’ll be without him.”

Coleman-Williams is Alabama’s leading wide receiver. He is having a bounce-back season this fall with 415 yards and four touchdowns on 23 receptions. He is averaging 18 yards per catch.
