What is the energy like at practice for Alabama after back-to-back losses?

The Alabama Crimson Tide are officially in desperation mode following back-to-back losses against Georgia and Tennessee.

The Tide will more than likely need to win out in order to secure their spot in the College Football Playoff. Alabama is set to host Texas A&M at Bryant-Denny Stadium this weekend, and the team as a whole will need to play with much more physicality and resilience opposed to what we have seen over the last two weeks.

Alabama linebacker Caleb Woodson took a moment to comment on the energy at practice to begin the week, as Woodson claims the defense could take their level of intensity up a notch moving forward.

“There’s always energy on the practice field.” Woodson said. “All the guys come to work, I think just, you know, amplifying that energy.”

Woodson continued to speak about the defensive unit’s point of emphasis during practice this week.

“Just doing your job, everyone’s got to do their one-elevens. If everyone does their job at a high level, we are going to be successful.”

Woodson recorded a team high 11 tackles during Alabama’s 26-10 loss to Tennessee this past weekend. The unit as a whole had an extremely alarming 23 missed tackles on the road in Knoxville, and Alabama’s defense will undoubtedly need to regroup prior to facing Marcel Reed and a talented Aggies’ offense this weekend.
