The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Arkansas State Red Wolves 101-86 at Coleman Coliseum on Friday night.

Alabama found themselves off to yet another slow offensive start in the first half, as the Tide were just 3-of-12 from the field over the first 6 minutes of play. Things changed fast, however, as Alabama was able to build a 17 point lead at halftime thanks to Amari Allen’s red hot end to the first half.

Allen ended Friday night’s victory with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, as the sophomore recorded the fifth triple double in Crimson Tide history against the Red Wolves. Both Allen and transfer forward Brandon Garrison were the clear standouts throughout all 40 minutes against Arkansas State, with Garrison recording an impressive 14 points and 10 rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting.

Alabama entered Friday evening’s contest with a clear size advantage over the Red Wolves, and the Tide were able to capitalize over the course of the matchup. Arkansas State hauled in 46 total rebounds opposed to Alabama’s 58, and the Tide as a whole were able to show major promise on the glass after displaying countless rebounding issues over the course of 2025.

Alabama is now 2-0 on the season following their 101-86 win over Arkansas State, and the Tide will be back in action against Oakland on Monday with star point guard Aden Holloway set to return from his suspension.
