Alabama reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 poll after a win over Arkansas, but it has dropped down.
The Crimson Tide earned a close, 24-20 victory over Texas A&M at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Bryce Young did not play because of an AC joint sprain to his shoulder, so Jalen Milroe got the starting nod at quarterback. Alabama had four turnovers, but its defense played its heart out. Will Anderson had a team-high eight quarterback pressures, and the crowd was rocking all game.
Alabama fell to No. 3 in Sunday’s AP poll behind Ohio State (No. 2) and Georgia (No. 1).
Tide fans hope Young is healthy to face Tennessee this week. The matchup will be at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn.
