Alabama had two players on the Pro Football Focus’ All-Bowl Team for 2022-23.
Jahmyr Gibbs (running back) and Brian Branch (defensive back) both made it. Gibbs was one of two running backs named to the list after a successful season with the Crimson Tide. He totaled 925 rushing yards, 444 receiving yards, and 10 total touchdowns in one year at Alabama.
Branch may have played himself into being a first-round pick with his Allstate Sugar Bowl performance. He finished with 90 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, three sacks, seven pass breakups, two quarterback hurries, and two interceptions.
The native Georgian was the most consistent playmaker in the secondary last year. He made the flex position for PFF. Both Branch and Gibbs have declared for the NFL Draft.
