Alabama graduates DJ Dale and Byron Young to the NFL Draft, but it returns an experienced veteran to the defensive line.
Justin Eboigbe, a former four-star in the 2019 class, decided to return to the Crimson Tide for a fifth season.

He started 2022 off strong with 11 tackles and two quarterback hurries in four games. Eboigbe was creating plays in the backfield until a neck injury sidelined him for the rest of the year. The 6-foot-5, 292-pounder had to get a procedure done, but he’s excited to return to Tuscaloosa, Ala. As a native Georgian, Eboigbe has contributed in each of the last four seasons but knows there is more he can do. He hinted at some exciting news on social media as he’s back as a defensive end.
Got Great News!!!

No one knows what his news could be, but it might be him being medically cleared to play.
Eboigbe brings the leadership needed on the defensive front. Alabama has young players such as Jaheim Oatis, Tim Smith, Jamil Burroughs, Tim Kennan III, and Damon Payne, but Eboigbe has to set the tone in the fall.
