One of the top offensive line prospects from the 2023 class is showcasing his quick footwork in the offseason.
Wilkin Formby, a four-star freshman at the University of Alabama, had a standout career at Northridge High School before crossing the bridge into Tuscaloosa (Ala.) to play for the Crimson Tide. He was one of five offensive linemen to sign in Alabama’s top-ranked class. The 6-foot-7, 320-pounder enrolled early for spring practice and participated in the annual A-Day game.

Formby, despite his size, carries nifty footwork. He is training with Velocity Football Academy, a developmental facility for offensive linemen and defensive linemen with NFL aspirations. Formby can transition from his left foot to his right foot quickly and establish a fast base in pass protection. He has the potential to be one of the more technically sound linemen for the Tide.
An early enrollee @AlabamaFTBL this Spring – OT @wilkinformby is a monster but moves like a deer. At 6’8” 330 his runway is long and going to be fun to follow. pic.twitter.com/8aM6dUYAoQ
