The union of Mac Jones and Bill O’Brien is starting well in New England.
Jones told reporters Wednesday in OTAs that O’Brien has everyone on the same page. As a University of Alabama alumnus, Jones is trying to have a bounce-back year in the fall. He is on the right track, especially after Patriots’ insiders provide information from practice. Mark Daniels, who covers the Patriots for Massachusetts Live, documented Jones having a perfect completion rating.

Jones intends on showing everyone that he’s the same quarterback from his rookie season. He looks to prove he is the signal-caller worthy of being taken at No. 15 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. Jones set a single-season school record for passing yards (4,500) and passing touchdowns (41) for Alabama in 2020. He guided the Crimson Tide to an undefeated national championship.
