Frank Reich sees he took the right quarterback with No. 1 overall pick of the NFL Draft.
Bryce Young has looked nothing short of impressive in organized team activities for the Carolina Panthers.

The team has Andy Dalton and Matt Corrral, but Young looked sharp in Thursday’s practice for the quarterbacks. Carolina Blitz, a media company that covers all Carolina sports, was on site capturing video of Young. He placed balls on the hands of wide receivers as they performed outside post patterns to the end zone. All of Young’s passes were caught for touchdowns.

After practice a couple of Young’s teammates said he is ‘going to be great’ for the Panthers.

“I think that kid is smart,” Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson said about Young. “He understands football, he understands the playbook, and he’s making great throws out there. He is learning how to be a pro. He is a Cali kid so shout out to California, and he’s one of those kids that I think is going to be great. He has Andy Dalton here, Josh McCown, and all these other quarterback coaches around him, so it is going to be an awesome thing to see. I cannot wait to see him grow and see what he’s got.”

Brady Christensen, an offensive guard, is very excited to be able to protect Young up front.
“You can’t speak highly enough of him,” Christensen said about Young. “It is the way he carries himself, his leadership, and his confidence. I am excited to see what he can do.”
Young set a single-season school record for passing yards (4,872), passing touchdowns (47), and total touchdowns (50) in 2021 during his sophomore season as a first-year starter for Alabama. He became the first signal-caller in Crimson Tide history to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy. Young finished his career second all-time for passing yards (8,356), touchdown passes (80), and total touchdowns (87).
