We move from quarterbacks to running backs, and Jase McClellan starts us off.

Summary
Jase McClellan arrived at the University of Alabama as a four-star in the 2020 signing class.
He brings all the tools necessary to be the No. 1 running back for the Crimson Tide, but can he separate himself as the guy?
McClellan shared responsibilities with Jahmyr Gibbs in 2022 — totaling 655 rushing yards, 274 receiving yards, and ten total touchdowns last season. He was known earlier in his career for his speed, but the native Texan showed growth late in 2022 — adding power to his game. The 5-foot-11, 212-pounder started running through tacklers to score touchdowns. He posted to his Instagram about his message for college football in the fall. McClellan refuses to be overlooked as one of the top backs.
Roydell Williams, Jamarion “Jam” Miller, Justice Haynes, and Richard Young are talented, but McClellan has waited his turn to become the team’s featured back. We will see if h blows everyone away in preseason camp, but the potential is there.
