Demarcus Riddick announced he was flipping his commitment from Georgia to Auburn after a strong push from Alabama.
Riddick is one of the nation’s top 2024 linebacker prospects. The Chilton County product is considered a five-star linebacker by multiple recruiting services.

The rising senior said Auburn football’s head coach Hugh Freeze was one of the reasons he committed to the Tigers.
“He is a family guy,” Riddick said. “That’s one thing I like about it…Saban is too, but like, it’s just, it’s something different with Coach Freeze than it is with coach Saban.”

Alabama football currently has three 2024 linebacker commits after missing out on Riddick.
