The matchup will air on ESPN at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday. Steve Sarkisian returns to Tuscaloosa (Ala.) for the first time since helping the Crimson Tide to an undefeated 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship season as its offensive coordinator. He nearly beat Nick Saban in Austin (Texas) last year, but Bryce Young propelled the Tide to a 20-19 victory on the road. Alabama’s meeting with the Longhorns will show everyone where this team is concerning its national title journey.
Coach Saban told reporters Monday this matchup will show ‘what Alabama is as a team.’
