He looks to return to the success he produced as a rookie or go higher than that. Jones turned in a great offseason and has the locker room behind him as the starting quarterback. The former Alabama signal-caller has also taken things a step further, enlisting the help of a seven-time Super Bowl Champion as a mentor. Tom Brady, a legend for the Patriots and the National Football League, has been giving Jones pointers on how to be a quarterback. Jones has taken in Brady’s wisdom, and it is helping him. He is excited about having Bill O’Brien as his offensive coordinator, especially with the experience O’Brien had with Brady.

In a recent interview on the Jones and Mego Show with Arcand, Jones discussed his relationship with Brady.

“He’s actually helped me a lot already just talking to him,” Jones said. “He’s been a great mentor… He’s a great player. Love watching his film.”

Brady consistently got the Patriots into the playoffs and delivered Super Bowl titles in significant moments. Jones has the potential, but he needs to show that last season was not him. He opens this season on Sunday against Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
