Alabama endured bad snaps from Seth McLaughlin and a lack of rhythm on offense to get a 31-10 halftime lead over Mississippi State.
Jalen Milroe got things going with a 53-yard touchdown run, but he did not begin to get the passing game flowing until late second quarter.

He does have two rushing scores for the Crimson Tide, and Jase McClellan has the other rushing touchdown. Will Reichard connected on a field goal in the first half, continuing his excellence this season.
Defensively. Alabama held MSU to 10 points.
Jihaad Campbell, a sophomore, record his first career interception. The former five-star is starting at weakside linebacker for an injured Deontae Lawson. Chris Braswell, a former five-star, recorded his first career interception off Will Rogers in the first quarter. He returned it for a touchdown.
The Tide has been able to affect Rogers, despite giving up a touchdown to Mike Wright — the backup quarterback for the Bulldogs.
Alabama scored two touchdowns late in the second quarter to stretch its lead out.
We will see what energy the team brings in the second half.
