Alabama kicker, Will Reichard, made a significant investment to return to school for a fifth season.
He could have gotten selected in this year’s NFL Draft, but Reichard was not ready to end his college career at the University of Alabama without another national championship. In his decision to return, the Hoover (Ala.) native has been perfect on field goals and extra points through five games. He’s made 11 field goals, including a 51-yard attempt against Texas in week two.

Reichard made four kicks in the Crimson Tide’s 40-17 victory over Mississippi State.
He nailed two 48-yard attempts, a 38-yard try, and a 34-yard kick.
The former three-star achieved perfection for Alabama in 2020, making all 14 field goals and 84 extra points. Reichard helped the Crimson Tide win a College Football Playoff National Championship during a COVID-shortened season. His outing against the Bulldogs earned him the Lou Groza Award ‘Stars of the Week’ honor. He has been one of the most consistent kickers in the game.
