Former Alabama defensive lineman Monkell Goodwine will be staying in the SEC as he announced his commitment to South Carolina on Sunday.
Goodwine entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this week after the Crimson Tide was eliminated by Michigan in the College Football Playoff. He spent three seasons at Alabama largely serving as a reserve player along the defensive line.
Goodwine was the second former member of the Crimson Tide to announce his transfer destination on Sunday as former quarterback Eli Holstein announced his commitment to Pittsburgh.
