Carter is a 2024 four-star edge rusher out of Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona. He is currently uncommitted after backing off his pledge to Washington earlier this month. Kalen DeBoer and his Alabama staff look to capitalize on the relationship they have built with Carter.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder is a long and athletic edge prospect, who doubled as a receiver and edge rusher as a senior. He has the length Alabama typically goes after at the outside linebacker position. He plays fast and with the ability to play sideline to sideline. He is a talented athlete, who could be recruited as a wide receiver if he decided to play there full-time
