Kendrick Blackshire confirmed he was transferring to Texas after entering the transfer portal.
Blackshire is a former Alabama linebacker and four-star prospect out of Duncanville High School in Texas.
The Texas native played in eight games for the Crimson Tide and finished the 2023 football season with 16 tackles, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
