Jones started in nine games at cornerback last season for Wake Forest and finished the season with 37 total tackles, three interceptions and two pass breakups. He signed with the Deamon Deacons as a three-star recruit doing the 2021 recruiting cycle.
Alabama’s staff is continuing to prioritize defensive backs as they shop in the transfer portal after recently losing two members of its secondary to the portal.
