Georgia’s rushing attack has been a conversation this week, especially with the yardage Alabama’s defense allowed versus South Florida and Wisconsin.
Kane Wommack and the Crimson Tide are aware and look to limit the Bulldogs. Alabama has a ground game of its own and a healthy offensive line that will be potent on Saturday in a Southeastern Conference showdown. Nick Sheridan has a chance to unload much creativity versus Georgia’s defense, but he can also wear down its front with success in the running game.

The ‘Dawgs have a stout defensive line, but an Alabama running back believes it is in for a challenge.
Jam Miller, a redshirt junior, is having a good season. He is averaging over nine yards per carry (9.14) through three games and totals 265 yards rushing with three touchdowns. Miller, a native Texan, had the hot hand against Wisconsin, posting 71 yards on nine attempts and a touchdown. He exploded for a 34-yard touchdown in helping Alabama to a 42-10 win over the Badgers.
Miller, Justice Haynes, and Jalen Milroe are dynamic with the football.
Haynes is averaging 8.68 yards per carry with two touchdowns, while Milroe leads everyone with six rushing scores.
Miller said Milroe’s ability to run the football opens everything up.
“It is very important,” Miller said about Milroe’s running ability. “I call it a triple threat with me, Justice, and Jalen. It is going to be a very hard challenge for Georgia to cover all of that.”
All three guys run with power, but all possess different moves to get defenders out the way. If Alabama gets Georgia going east-west instead of north-south, it will be a long night for the Bulldogs in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
