Alabama makes Georgia 2025 DL feel ‘not like normal recruit’ during game visit

Christian Ingram made his way to Tuscaloosa to visit with Alabama football for the Georgia game and left impressed.

Ingram was one of the more than 100 recruits, who traveled to watch the Tide defeat the Bulldogs.

Alabama offered the Covington, Georgia product earlier this month. He also picked up offers from Georgia and Vanderbilt this month.

Ingram’s first visit to Alabama since earning an offer from the Tide allowed him to meet Kalen DeBoer.

“It was good,” Ingram said while discussing  meeting DeBoer. “Pretty calm dude when he’s not on the field. He told me he wanted to bring me down to the locker room to just let me see they don’t see me as a normal recruit but as a guy that can help them keep progressing.”

The energy inside the stadium during the game really stood out to the senior.

“The atmosphere was crazy,” Ingram told Touchdown Alabama.  “I definitely felt the energy down in Bama. Bama was all-around out working Georgia, seemed like they wanted it more.”

Alabama has put themselves among Ingram’s top choices.

“Definitely one of the top schools with the energy they bring every morning to the legacy and talent they have,” Ingram said. “I really love the Tide.”

The 6-foot-6, 280-pounder is disruptive in the middle of the Newton defense. He packs power in pursuit of the football as he displays the ability to get rid of offensive linemen and get to ball carriers.
