Alabama football is out of the Southeastern Conference Championship Game conversation.
The Crimson Tide suffered its third loss of the season Saturday to Oklahoma.
Three things Alabama needs to do in the 2nd half to beat Oklahoma
Alabama’s offense was not effective, Jalen Milroe had the worst game of his collegiate career, and the Sooners totaled 200-plus yards rushing on the Tide’s defense with the triple option. Tide fans thought the team found life early in the fourth quarter when Milroe found Ryan Williams for an incredible touchdown play, but a penalty took the score away. After seeing what was called by the officials, fans of Alabama were irate on social media. Supporters of the Tide and former players were disgusted with the touchdown getting removed. Alabama suffered a 3-24 loss to the Sooners and its third defeat of the year on the road.
The reactions to Williams’ touchdown getting called back are below.
One perspective is that fortunately that totally blown call isn’t why we lost the game. We lost it for every other reason too.

I really look forward to the ref crew’s explanation about this… https://t.co/WRx1hq4JJ9

That penalty didn’t even feel like just a bad call. He just straight up lied and there’s nothing we can do….

One of the best plays you’ll see all season by Ryan Williams was called back because of a penalty…#RollTide

The SEC owes Ryan Williams an apology because the refs made up a reason to rob us of this INCREDIBLE PLAY pic.twitter.com/qJl16mP6OV
