Bear McWhorter got back to Tuscaloosa for Alabama football’s Junior Day on Saturday.
McWhorter is a 2026 offensive lineman out of Cass High School in Georgia. He garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites, including ESPN.
The Georgia product’s latest visit to Tuscaloosa allowed him to get another look at what the Alabama program provides its athletes.
“I got to meet with Coach Deboer and go through all of the strength stuff and go through a bunch of meetings. It is always a good time with those guys,” McWhorter told Touchdown Alabama. “Also got to see the freshman dorms and then wrapped up at the basketball game.”
Alabama is continuing to trend in a good direction with the junior.
“They’re in really strong standing,” said McWhorter. “I feel great about them at this point in my recruitment.”
At 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, McWhorter is an agile offensive lineman, who shines at the guard position with his ability to work to the second level and be physical in the trenches in the run game.
